Friends of Meadowside Food Donation

Christmas can be a difficult time of year for a lot of people, even more so than other times of the year. Blue Whale Media staff recognise this and have for the last two years purchased items to donate to a local Homeless or food bank charity.

This year we chose to work with Friends of Meadowside, who have set up in our local town. We always try where we can to support local charities which can make a clear difference and impact in the town we work. This year the team donated over 100 items to the food bank to help people who aren’t as fortunate at a time of year where coming together is the key takeaway.

Friends of Meadowside support hundreds of people when they need help with extra food, clothing or emotional support. Friends of Meadowside offer a safe space where people can come to be part of our community, they can come for a chat and a cuppa.
