Google Launches Project Sunroof In UK

Apart from working alongside E.ON, Google is collaborating with German software firm Tetraeder on the initiative.

Google launched the tool in America in 2015, and it’s part of the company’s desire to promote solar energy. It invested $300m (£195m) in 2015 into SolarCity, a fund to help American residential properties install solar panels. The total budget of SolarCity was $750m (£486m).

But Google has also ploughed money into solar farms across the world, such as one in California’s Mojave Desert.
