HLD Management – 2021 Half-Year Review
One of the projects that stand out to our team is the creation of HLD Management’s website, and we wired with the company that already had the designs; they just needed a company to build the website. The Blue Whale Media Development team included features that enhance the use of the website for the user as well as the company.
An example of this would be the scalable filtering system for the models and talent featured on the website that we have included. The purpose of the website filter is to give a person the opportunity to view a more personalised browsing experience. Filtering is useful for any online shop, even without extensive lists of products. But when you use it for a list of things or people, for example, it can work exceptionally well and increase the website’s usability. With HLD Management, they have a large list of people with talents that the company manage, so choosing a specific talent allows you to refine the results and the long list.
Our website design and development team wanted to increase the functionality of this website, not just for web users but for the company in general. This is because the website is their portfolio and each talent or page needs to be easily accessible.
Overall website development
Our team worked towards a design that we had been given for HLD Management’s website, and it is very unique in terms of the branding. Our team has included elements that have been consistently placed throughout the website to enhance the brand awareness and identity. The team have made great use of the SVGs within the website whilst also including an in-depth custom post type coding. Custom post types are content types like posts and pages, which means the company can add more pages for their talent and any other people that need adding to their portfolio.
Filters may seem like a small and insignificant part of a website; in reality, it’s the filters that provide a seamless user experience. They are a necessary standard allowing users to find and navigate through a lot of pages; this applies to shoppers too! Everything that improves a website’s User Experience is good for business, whether that’s sales or more website visits.
