Olive Branch Mediterranean Street Food is a small restaurant based in Liverpool, with an ode to flavour and nostalgia. Created by a man in his quest to find the unforgettable taste, Olive Branch is the epitome of dedication to flavour.
What We Did.
Our team at Blue Whale Media designed and developed a new website for Olive Branch Street Food, the design is engaging and showcases the restaurant as modern and welcoming. We used the colour scheme of their original logo for the colour scheme of the website, the cohesion between the two will help the restaurant increase its brand identity.
Our marketing team linked their social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram with the website, using the same branding this will help increase the awareness around their brand. We also included a live chat on the website using Tawk, which will help people get in touch with the restaurant easily. We included vectors of the food they include within their dishes, this will create the feel and establish the overall culture of the brand, the background image is rustic and showcases the Olive Branch restaurant perfectly.
Our development team included a Parallax video on the homepage of the website which will engage web visitors and convert them into customers, we also added images of their food throughout the pages of the website to improve the user experience. With a full view slider to showcase their food, Olive Branch will be able to interest more web visitors by displaying the food they make. We also added an online ordering system to allow customers to click and collect through the website, again making the customer experience easier and ensuring they get in direct contact with the restaurant.
The new website for Integrated Olive Branch Street is the perfect solution for the company to really establish their brand identity. There have been many changes to the website. However, the most standout features include the Paralaxx video. This will improve the user experience of the website as the animation encourages the user to continue to scroll.
We improved the user interactivity by including hover button animations throughout the site. We also included background arrows on the buttons to increase user experience.
Integrating the online ordering system provides a whole new experience within the company. Their customers are able to place their orders online and pick them up from the restaurant. By incorporating this into the website it can streamline any phone call enquiries making for a better overall experience for the customers.
We built a Live Chat feature into the site. We believe that this will improve the relationship with their customers. This will give the business the opportunity to respond to messages quickly and efficiently. Providing customer service instantly will also help improve the efficiency of the phone call enquiries.
Moving forward, this will help the company keep customers engaged and therefore follow up in successful bookings.
