Our Video Capturing and Editing Software.
Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Suite – Containing the power of 15+ creative software applications, Adobe Creative Suite remains an integral part of a creator and editor’s toolset for video content. Our videography team uses Adobe After Effects for their video compositing effects, creating and combining video elements into a single well-produced shot. Thanks to Adobe’s Dynamic Link, we transfer and edit the video in Adobe Premiere Pro, allowing for multicamera editing, advanced audio mixing and Bezier keyframing. Depending on the project’s needs and specifications, we use other applications in Adobe’s Creative Suite like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Audition to make sure any images or audio are ready to be integrated or posted.

avid media composer

Avid Media Composer – For more extensive and complex video editing projects, the Blue Whale Media videography team will use Avid Media Composer for its non-linear and non-destructive editing capabilities. Avid Media Composer allows our editors to edit and reconstruct large amounts of video with ease while always keeping the source footage wholly untouched and available. With a backlog and copy of every changed version of a video, switching between edits is nearly instantaneous and allows for a higher quality of audio and image to be retained.

Parrot

Parrot Bebop – This little drone is an achievement in lightweight aerial filming and gives the videography team a new angle to work with. At a super light 500 grams, the Parrot Bebop 2 offers 25 minutes of free flight time while supporting a full HD 1080p camera. With a wide-angle 14-megapixel lens supporting horizontal and vertical 180-degree pictures, photographs are sharp and able to capture any panoramic landscape. The parrot’s lightweight build allows it to travel up to 37.28 mph, and thanks to advanced visual recognition technology and GPS tracking it can continuously follow and film you without being controlled. The Parrot Bebop 2 stands as a technical achievement in the space of lightweight high-functionality drones.

DJI

DJI Inspire 2 – While the Parrot Bebop 2 can manage with the majority of aerial photography and filming when it comes to larger projects with specific requirements we sometimes use the DJI Inspire 2 drone. With a near 60mph top speed and a controllable range of 4.3 miles, this drone has a suite of features that set it as one of the most advanced unmanned aircrafts currently available. With near 360-degree terrain and obstacle detection up to 200 feet away, the Inspire 2 steers clear of any crashes with ease while filming at an extraordinary 6K 30fps.

sony

Sony HXR-NX80 4K  – This revolutionary palm camcorder by Sony has changed the game when it comes to filming broadcast quality 4K HDR video. With configurable high-speed autofocus that boasts face detection software, lock-on and tracking autofocus technology, any subject you want to capture is always sharp and smoothly rendered. This camera allows for up to 960fps super-slow motion using S&Q motion cache recording technology and 12x optical zoom that extends all the way up to 48x at its maximum. If all this wasn’t enough, your shots can be directly streamed for anyone to watch on the internet with 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi integrated into the camera, making this the most powerful and versatile palm camcorder Sony has released to date.
