Blue Whale Media September update blog
As the seasons begin to change, and the leaves turn ochre in Birchwood Park, our team at Blue Whale Media has experienced a few changes ourselves. In addition to an office freshen up and seat switch around, we have welcomed Josh, our new Digital Marketing Apprentice. We are always happy to welcome a new member to the Blue Whale family, and we’re looking forward to having him with us in the run-up to Christmas (yes we’re already thinking about Christmas; we’re a very festive bunch!)
Throughout late July and August, our team has been hard at work, developing a diverse spectrum of websites for our clients. They range from jewellery designers to roofers and vehicle recovery.
Some recent work from our Manchester Web Design team includes Pink House; a bespoke and signature jewellery designer who needed a website as bold and unique as the pieces they create. Matthew incorporated numerous photographic sliders throughout the site to showcase the companies work and products.
Our Web Designer Calum gave Halton Containers a vast overhaul with a fresh, uncluttered and clean design. The new and improved website includes integrated, interactive maps, contact forms and sliders to create a comprehensive platform.
Our social media team have been devising new and exciting content for Blue Whale online. A unique and exciting addition to our social media content is the weekly podcasts from our staff members regarding their respective fields. Maybe you spotted a podcast on your newsfeed? If you missed them, you can go back and filter through our podcasts and find a subject that interests you. We have a myriad of options to choose from on our Facebook page; An email marketing podcast by our office manager and social media expert Eve. Or if you prefer, a logo design lesson with our graphics designer Lewis or a Web Design Seminar with the Web Design team of Calum, Matthew and Sam.
So far, we have loved the positive feedback and questions we get from viewers. We’re excited about where our podcasts are leading us and are looking forward to continuing our live interactions with you all!
Elsewhere in the office, our drone team has been planning and producing some of our most exceptional client work. Our recent work with Mayne Coaches yielded fantastic footage that was edited into a professional promotional video by our team. We feel that our work perfectly captures the feeling of celebration that Mayne Coaches wished to portray coming into their 100th year of service.
Blue Whale managers Eve and Luke also attended and completed a Management Training Course. They brought the spirit of training and self-improvement back to the office with them, as our team have carried out internal training sessions in photography, after effects and SEO techniques.
We’re excited to see what projects and challenges autumn brings us here at Blue Whale. Our client base is expanding, our team are busy and are looking forward to the next few months of progress.
