I want to learn more Javascript. It is something I have little experience with and to help further my career in web development I will need to improve my knowledge and skills with this programming language as it’s a big part of web development. The purpose of this programming language is to help give the users a more interactive experience when browsing their website.
Javascript can be used to load more content onto a page without the users needing to refresh the page. It can also be used to add effects onto certain items such as a dropdown menu, images or videos.
Without javascript it can make a website look less attractive and because of this it can make you sites less likely to be picked by the SEO (search engine optimisation) to be at the top of the page, but by having javascript built into the site it can put your site at the top of the search results.
Another reason why i want to improve my skills is because you can even create custom build sliders or even animations that can play as soon as the page loads in or you can have it so that when the users hover over the image it plays the animation and when then come of it it stops playing but when they hover back on it it will continue playing from were it last stopped.
