What We Did.
Our website development team created a new website as part of the Cosmetology Clinic Liverpool, the new site is for the training element of their business. The website has the purpose of housing all of the training courses for the treatments they offer, the website contains lessons, courses, quizzes and certificates. There is an instant messenger system that allows the trainee to contact the Cosmetology team. With unique personal accounts for all users, allowing them to upload their own images to their personal timeline, contact other users, create groups, submit messages on forums and complete courses.
The client wanted a simple and classy design for the site, we have used a blue and green colour scheme which matches the actual Cosmetology Clinic Liverpool logo, the blue and green is often used for aesthetics and clinical websites. The aim of the site is to promote the cosmetic training courses., the main objective was to create a website that is easy to navigate and that looks very professional, fonts used were the same as the sister site “Cosmetology Clinic Liverpool”. With a unique menu, it showcases all functionality within the website from messages to search bar to navigate through the website.
The new website for Cosmetology Online Training is the perfect solution for the company to really establish their brand identity. There have been many changes to the website however, the most standout features include the feature where people can create their own profile on the website, this allows the user to instant message, create groups and even upload pictures. These different elements enhance the user experience of the website as people are allowed to interact with the website in a more personalised way.
The use of hover animation on the buttons on the website encourages user interactivity. It not only keeps users on the page for longer but it increases the chance that they may interact with the buttons and links to explore the page further.
A custom query loop has been added which means that when a new course is added to the website it will be displayed on the homepage as well as the course page. This is a great way to ease the navigation of the website so the users can find exactly what they are looking for when they arrive on the page. This feature also means it is easier for the website owner to upload content when they wish. It will retain the cohesive brand look and feel.
Moving forward, this will help the company keep customers engaged and therefore follow up in successful bookings.
