Danielle Pinnell Photography is a Wakefield-based portrait photographer specialising in heirloom pieces of art of babies, children, families and pregnancy, aiming to deliver a bespoke luxury service and beautiful art that will stand the test of time.

What We Did.
At Blue Whale Media, our team designed and built a new website for Danielle Pinnell Photography, a branded colour scheme that increases its brand identity. The new website is bespokely tailored to their business and enables the photographer to showcase her images beautifully. The website has a unique design, looks high-end and professionally showcases the company to stand out from the competitors.

Our graphic design team also designed a new logo for Danielle Pinnell Photography, which has been incorporated into the website and we have matched the logo colours to the colour scheme of the website. This helps to increase brand awareness and showcase brand identity throughout the website pages. Our video team has also animated the logo, which adds a special touch to the website, setting the photographer apart from her competitors.

Our video team created a header video for the website’s homepage, which displays some of the photography from Danielle Pinnell’s portfolio. To be able to showcase her services perfectly, we have included a masonry gallery grid on the portfolio page; it is simple but effective when highlighting her work and photography. To enhance engagement throughout the website, we included hover animations on buttons leading to other pages; we also added scroll animations so when the user scrolls, the image borders and lines move in throughout each page.

Biggest Change.
The new website we designed and built for Danielle Pinnell Photography showcases a number of new features that will help enhance her online presence and increase the number of appointments she makes. We animated her logo on each page, as well as included a header video on the homepage to make it more visually engaging for users. We included a masonry gallery grid on her portfolio page to showcase her best pieces of imagery to entice her audience into booking an appointment.
