What We Did.
Our team at Blue Whale Media created a new website for Web Design Knutsford; the new website uses a bold colour scheme and unique shapes to show a more informal side of web design. The colour scheme behind this design is bright and bold to engage users, but the images and icons used are relaxed and give a friendly feel to the website. We designed a fun and vibrant design throughout the website as a whole; this was done to capture a modern and lively business rather than a typical corporate-centric media company.

For Web Design Knutsford, our marketing team had the task of a complete social rebrand. By including the new branding from the website, we are able to keep the constancy across every platform. This means we can enhance the company’s online presence whilst maintaining a playful and professional appearance, giving them a new way to communicate with their audience and potential clients.

The web development team used unique elements to help with the functionality of the website and the overall user experience; for example, we used a custom query for the blog posts section. We also built a custom-coded single blog page that matches the client’s PDF design. The team also added two types of animation; page-scroll animations were implemented to give the extra user interactivity and the website some motion, whereas hover animations were included for the buttons on the website to provide visual interactivity.

The new website for Web Design Knutsford is the perfect solution for the company to really establish their brand identity. There have been many changes to the website. However, the most standout features include the new stand out branding. The new colourway for the company displays a fun and playful side to the business whilst still remaining professional within its sector.
The page scroll animations that have been implemented create an extra layer of user interactivity. This enhances the engagement of the users to promote more interaction throughout the site.
The social media buttons are fixed to the side of the website on the desktop. This provides ease of access to the social media platforms to encourage users to interact with the buttons.
Also, the consistent header design created and implemented throughout the website enhances the brand identity and ensures the website is more accessible for the user. Moving forward, this will help the company keep customers engaged and therefore follow up on successful leads.
