YKK was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and can be found in 108 companies in over 72 counties. YKK has continuously set industry standards for quality, service, value and innovation in the production of fastening products such as zippers, hook & loop fasteners, plastic buckles and notions, webbing, and snaps & buttons.

What We Did.
Our website development team at Blue Whale Media created a brand new website for YKK, the website is now an ecommerce browse-only website. We have included an attractive contact us section which shows a world map as YKK is a worldwide company and well known for their products. The website has a large mega menu with icons for easier navigation, these elements create a better user experience throughout the overall website. The website also includes links to their other websites from around the world. YKK’s new website is a bright and vibrant update to perfectly showcases their company and services, the brand guidelines have been followed throughout the design process. The website colours, blue theme, are inline with their brand identity and match the logo of the company.

Biggest Change.
The Ecommerce browse only website built for YKK Europe showcases many new features; one being the large mega menu with the use of icons for easier navigation. We added in a ‘contact us’ section whilst following brand guidelines using their blue colour throughout the site. We ensured there are multiple links to their other sites around the world in order to keep them all linked. These new features not only improve the user experience, but also allows the company to continue with a strong brand identity.
